Welcome to Holy Family Nursery

The Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust and Governing Committee of Holy Family School are pleased to confirm the addition of a newly refurbished Foundation (Nursery) classroom at Holy Family School. 

The dedicated nursery staff  include a very experienced Teacher and a highly qualified Teaching Assistant who are committed to providing a learning environment that will encourage children to explore, learn and grow. 

At Holy Family, we recognise each child as a unique and special gift from God and can’t wait to nurture and enhance their early childhood experience.

How To Apply  

We are now accepting applications for places.  Children are eligible to attend Holy Family Nursery in the term after they turn 3 years old.   We are able to offer places for both Government funded hours and paid hours.  We are also accepting applications for younger children, although they won’t start until after their 3rd birthday.  

If you would like to apply for a place for your child, please complete the Nursery Application Form above and return to the School Office.  Applications can be returned by email or by hand.

 

Nursery Hours

Holy Family Nursery is open during the following hours, term time only.

Morning Session – 8.45 am to 11.45 am
Afternoon Session – 12.15 pm to 3.15 pm
All Day Session – 8.45 am to 3.15 pm*

*Children attending for a full day and staying at nursery for lunch will need to bring a packed lunch from home. There will also be an additional charge of £4.00 per child per day.

Attendance can be a mixture of full days, morning and afternoon sessions as required.  Additional charges for sessions may apply, depending how many Government funded hours your child is entitled to.

 

Wrap Around Care Clubs

Nursery children can also access our wrap around care clubs, the Sunrise Breakfast Club and Sunset After School Club (subject to availabilty).    

Sunrise Breakfast Club
The breakfast club is available each morning, during term time, from 7.45 am to 8.45 am.  The cost is currently £5.00 per child per day, which includes breakfast.

Sunset After School Club
The after school club is available after nursery, during term time, from 3.15 pm to 5.15 pm.  Attendance each day is split into two sessions, the first session is from 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm and the second session is from 4.15 pm to 5.15 pm*.  The cost is currently £5.00 per child per session, which includes a snack.

*Please note that Sunset After School Club start and finish times for nursery children do vary slightly to the start and finish times for Reception Class, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.
