
Pupils from Holy Family School in Darlington enjoyed a fantastic day of sport, teamwork and celebration at this year’s Town Sports event.
Children from across the school took part in a wide range of activities and competitions, representing Holy Family with pride and enthusiasm throughout the day. The event showcased not only their athletic ability, but also their strong sense of teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship.
A Celebration of Effort and Team Spirit
From the very first event, pupils demonstrated a positive attitude and a determination to do their best. Whether competing in races, taking on field events, or supporting their classmates from the sidelines, every child contributed to the uplifting atmosphere.
Staff at Holy Family praised the children for their behaviour and commitment, noting how well they embodied the school’s values during the event. Their encouragement of one another and willingness to try their best stood out throughout the day.
Pride in Every Achievement
While there were many strong performances, the focus of the day was on participation, effort and personal achievement. Every pupil, regardless of the result, was encouraged to feel proud of their contribution.
