The new school year has got off to a fantastic start at Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Darlington, with children returning to classrooms full of smiles, enthusiasm and excitement.
It has been wonderful to welcome pupils back to school and see how quickly they have settled into their new classes. Whether reconnecting with familiar friends and staff or beginning a new chapter in a different classroom, children have approached the first week with confidence, kindness and a positive attitude.
Staff have already seen many examples of pupils living out the school's mission statement, "See Christ in ourselves and others." Throughout the week, children have demonstrated this value by helping one another, welcoming new friends and showing respect and care to those around them.
These everyday acts of kindness have helped create a warm and supportive atmosphere across the school, highlighting the strong sense of community that makes Holy Family such a special place to learn and grow.
