Holy Family Catholic Primary School is celebrating the fantastic achievements of its talented Cross Country team, who recently competed in the Primary Schools Cross Country event.
Every pupil represented the school with outstanding determination, resilience and enthusiasm throughout the competition. Qualifying for the team was a significant achievement in itself, and all of our runners should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
A special congratulations goes to the pupils who secured top placings in their respective races. Their excellent performances have earned them the opportunity to represent Team Darlington at the upcoming Tees Valley Cross Country Finals. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and the entire Holy Family community looks forward to supporting them as they compete against some of the region's best young athletes.
Taking part in competitive sport helps children develop confidence, perseverance and teamwork, and our pupils demonstrated these qualities brilliantly throughout the event.
We would also like to thank the Darlington School Sport Partnership for organising such a successful event and providing pupils with the opportunity to showcase their sporting talents.
Congratulations once again to all of our runners for their hard work and dedication. We wish our Team Darlington qualifiers the very best of luck in the Tees Valley Finals!
